Ready? Lets go down the rabbit hole 🐇🐇🐇

Today, I'm going to talk about my tech stack.

What's that, you ask? It's the collection of tools and technologies that I use to get things done.

I've carefully selected each tool based on my needs and preferences, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve my workflow. So, let's dive in!

Messaging and Community

  • Telegram:
Telegram is my go-to messaging app. It's fast, reliable, and has a ton of features, like groups, channels, and bots. I use it to stay in touch with friends, family, and colleagues, and to keep up with the latest news and updates.

  • Discord:
Discord is another great messaging app, but I use it more for community building and communication with my team members. It's a great platform for real-time chat, voice, and video calls.

Literature Management

  • Zotero:
Zotero is a lifesaver for me when it comes to managing my references and citations. It's a powerful tool with a variety of features, including automatic citation generation, note-taking, and file management. I use it to keep track of all the sources that I use for my research projects.

    • In addition, it is free to use.

Customer Relation Management (CRM)

  • HubSpot:
HubSpot is my CRM of choice. It's a comprehensive platform with all the bells and whistles, including contact management, lead generation, and sales tracking. I use it to keep track of my sales pipeline, manage my customer interactions, and send out email marketing campaigns.

Single Source of Truth (SSOT)

  • Notion:
Notion is my one-stop shop for everything. It's a versatile tool that can be used for note-taking, task management, project management, and more. I use it to keep track of all my notes, tasks, and projects in one place.

Saving Sites, Articles and Inspiration

  • Pocket:
Pocket is my go-to tool for saving articles and websites that I want to read later. It's a great way to keep track of interesting content and avoid losing it. I use Pocket to save articles and websites that I find on social media, in my email inbox, or anywhere else online.

Task Management

  • Google Tasks:
Google Tasks is my simple and easy-to-use task management tool. It integrates seamlessly with other Google products, so it's easy to keep track of my to-do list and deadlines.

Automation

  • Zapier:
Zapier is a powerful automation tool that can save me a lot of time and effort. I use it to automate tasks such as sending out email notifications, creating new tasks in my project management system, and updating my CRM database.

  • Make (former Integromat): *
Make is another powerful automation tool with a variety of features, including custom scripting. I use Make to automate more complex tasks that can't be automated with Zapier.

Password Management

  • Bitwarden:
Bitwarden is my secure and easy-to-use password manager. I use it to store all of my passwords in one place, so I don't have to remember them all individually.

    • With Bitwarden, i also can generate individual passwords for each Application, which increases my security.

    • For private use i is completely free.

    • Additionally, Bitwarden is Open Source, what also increases Security.

AI Chatbots

I test many of the current availble Chatbots. But in most cases i rely on the following:

  • ChatGPT:
ChatGPT is an AI chatbot that can help me with my writing and research. It can generate text, translate languages, and answer my questions in an informative way. I use ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas, generate outlines, and write first drafts of my content. In addition, ChatGPT offers Plugins which also can be very helpful. This feature is only available in the paid version.

You also need the paid version to use GPT4, their newest model, and to browse the Internet.

  • Bard:
Bard is another AI chatbot that can help me with my writing and research. It can generate text, translate languages, and answer my questions in an informative way.
I like Bard, because it has access to the internet, and i can hand-over websites to Bard, to use the information from it.

  • Perplexity:
Perplexity is my Goto-Tool for Researching new Topics. Besides the two others, it automatically can search the entire web and list the sources of the answers. It also suggests follow-up questions, to dig deeper into a topic.

All of them come with a free version. I you need more options (e.g. Plugins within ChatGPT) you have to pay.

Please pay attention, to what you upload and what you ask. Keep care of your privacy. Keep that in mind, especially when handling company data.

Image Generation

  • Leonardo:
Leonardo is an AI tool that can generate images from text. It's a powerful tool that can create realistic images from scratch. I use Leonardo to generate images for my blog posts and social media.

  • Dall-E 3

This is currently the newest generation of generative Image creation. To use it, i go with the Bing Chat where Dall-E is integrated.

The Image for this post is also created with Dall-E.

Newsletter and Blog Posts

  • Beehiiv:

I use Beehiiv to write and publish my newsletter and blog posts. It's an easy-to-use platform with a variety of features, including templates, analytics, and scheduling.

Calendar

  • Cron:
I use Cron to schedule jobs and tasks. It's a powerful tool that can help you automate your workflow.

It was aquired by Notion. Thats why it integrates perfectly with my Notion Workflows.
